Gordene carefully reviews the difference between sex and gender, as well as some of the basics of gender identity and expression. Then Nancy and Gordene interview Grace Sterling Stowell, director of BAGLY , the Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth. They discuss the services provided by BAGLY, some of the issues that trans youth face, and some of the most popular myths about transgender people.
Thank you so much for the information contained in your presentations. As a mental health provider just trying to get started in private practice, it has been frustrating to find anything professionally-oriented. Please keep up the great work!

Thanks for this, but Logo, according to their website, is looking for something very different. Thanks for watching, though, and contributing this flattering suggestion.
Have you ever tried to pich the show to LOGO? Go to LOGOonline.com

- Wonderful
After having worked in TV and film for decades, especially the first one spent in Public TV, this excites me like few other shows have. I just wish I didn't live on the West Coast, so I could be personally involved.
Quite a triumph!

- Excellent
I'm so glad I found this site, and this show. I identify as transgender (FTM) and it often feels like I'm the only person who thinks twice about gender in a 100 mile radius. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one.
I like the fact that your show talks about both sides of the coin, the MTF side and the FTM sides. Has there ever been or will there ever be a show on FTM specific topics?
Thank you for making this guy not feel quite so alone!

- We'll get there
Thanks for your kind words, we've now talked about some FTM issues with Alejandro Marcel (see "Transgender Health Care"), and will surely do more in the future.

- Another Triumph
Well done again people, another good show. Once you have enough episodes together, I'm sure some of the bigger channels would run it as a series. Especially in places like the UK where we have public funded television.
